Do you accept payments online?

Each page on the web site has a "Make a Payment" button. You may pay with your Visa or MasterCard credit card; your Debit/ATM card, as long as your card displays either a MasterCard or Visa logo; or with funds transfer from your checking or savings account.

Please allow 1-2 business days for the payment to be applied to your account.

At this time online payments are not being accepted for life insurance policies and flexible premium deferred annuities.

How does the billing cycle work?

  • The first policy on the account sets the bill date.
  • Invoices will be produced 18 days before their due date.
  • Payments must be received in our company's Home Office by the due date.
  • An invoice will be produced based on the payment plan option chosen.

Is there a payment plan fee?

A payment plan fee is applied at the billing entity level for payment plan options, except for monthly EFT. If there are multiple policies on one billing entity, only one payment plan fee will apply for each scheduled billing installment.

How much is the payment plan fee?

  • Monthly EFT - No payment plan fee applies.
  • Monthly - $3 at 12 intervals per year (a total of $36 per year).
  • Quarterly - $3 at 4 intervals per year (a total of $12 per year).
  • Semi-annual - $3 at 2 intervals per year (a total of $6 per year).
  • Full Pay - No payment plan fee applies.

For life insurance policies and flexible premium deferred annuities, payment plan fees for options other than annual are based on a percentage of total premium. For assistance or questions about premium payments, please contact your Farm Bureau Insurance Agent.

What payment plan options are available?

  • Monthly EFT - Payments will automatically be withdrawn from a checking or savings account each month.
  • Monthly Payment - You will be billed each month.
  • Quarterly Payment - You will be billed every three months.
  • Semi-Annual Payment - You will be billed every six months.
  • Full Payment - You will be billed once a year.
  • Credit card payments are accepted.

For life insurance policies and flexible premium deferred annuities, annual, semi-annual or quarterly premiums may be paid by check or money order to "Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company". We also offer automatic EFT (electronic funds transfer) for monthly premiums.

Is there a discount for having more than one policy type with the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies?

Insureds who have a Farm Bureau Insurance Personal Auto policy and a Farm Bureau Insurance Homeowners, Mobile Homeowners, Country Estate, or Farmowners policy will now receive a Multi-Policy Credit.

The credit will be applied to each qualifying policy at renewal, if you currently have both policies with a Farm Bureau Insurance Company.

If you have one of the above policies with a Farm Bureau Insurance Company, but not the other, now would be a good time to talk to your Farm Bureau Insurance Agent about adding a new Farm Bureau Insurance policy to take advantage of this credit.

For more information on the Multi-Policy Credit, contact your local Farm Bureau Insurance Agent.
