Managing Partner Tom Carter, ChFC, CLU, CIC, LUTCF, CSA
Hello, I'm Tom Carter. As a Managing Partner, it is my pleasure to offer you the opportunity to become a career agent with Farm Bureau Insurance. We offer all lines of insurance, including life, home, auto, farm, business, retirement, and more. We are strong, financially stable and have assets of over $2 billion. With more than 430 agents located in communities across Michigan, we protect every part of this great state. I began my career with Farm Bureau Insurance in 1971, and have been in field management since 1973. A strong believer in continuing education, I earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1973, and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1977. These prestigious professional designations were followed in 1990 by the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, and in 1993 I was named "Fellow" by the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTCF). In addition to a variety of church and community activities, I also speak frequently to groups about Living Trusts, Long-Term health care, and the concepts of estate preservation.
