As long-time members of this community, my husband Ben and I and our children, Coleman and Cooper, appreciate all that Monroe has to offer. For many years, I have been active in the community, which has given me the opportunity to meet some friendly, caring and intelligent people. I've been able to help some of them with their insurance needs. After graduating from Michigan State University, my husband Ben and I decided to move back to our hometown of Monroe and partner with Ben's father and Starr Insurance Agency. Starr Insurance Agency houses two generations of Farm Bureau Insurance agents with over 30 years combined experience. We embrace the service and professionalism we have provided since 1980. The agency is active in sponsoring youth league sports programs, the Monroe Center for seniors, many city-run safety programs for children, and statewide essay contests for elementary schools. In addition, our three staff members, Donna, Heather and LesLee, live in the Monroe County area and support many different local groups and businesses.
