My wife Kelsey, my sons Coleman and Cooper and I appreciate all that Monroe County has to offer. As long-time residents we enjoy the Downtown District, the plentiful public parks and the access to many wonderful Michigan locations throughout the state. I am a member of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Monroe Area, and past board member of Monroe Area Soccer Association. My wife Kelsey and I, after graduating with Bachelor degrees from Michigan State University, decided to partner in the Starr Insurance Agency, which houses two generations of Farm Bureau Insurance agents with over 30 years combined experience. I enjoy the opportunity to serve our 5,000 plus client base and continue the high level of service and professionalism we have provided since 1980. The agency is active in sponsoring youth league sports programs, the Monroe Center for seniors, many city-run safety programs for children, and statewide essay contests for elementary schools. In addition, our four staff members, Kelsey, Donna, Heather and LesLee, live in the Monroe County area and support local groups, government and businesses.
