After attending Ferris State University and serving in the U.S. Army, I received my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. I am committed to increasing my education in the field of insurance and financial services. Currently, I am pursuing my designations as a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and LUTCF (Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow). My husband, Bill, and I reside in Grandville with sons, Aaron and Jason. We are members of Fair Haven Ministries in Hudsonville, where I serve as a Promiseland large group leader. Community involvement is very important to us, which led me to co-found Slippery McDivot's Summer Classic, a golf tournament held annually in August to benefit Hospice of Michigan, Greater Grand Rapids.
